So I saw Watchmen with my buddy come opening night. It sucked waiting outside for 2 hours in the cold, out by the parking lot instead of near the theater, but we still got some pretty nice seating. After all the previews had gone and the movie started, I can say this: I fell asleep after the opening fight. The intro felt to slow and I had a long day, so I couldn't keep my eyes open. After that, though, it picked up and I stayed awake for the rest of the time.

Onto the actual review. its not a bad movie in its own right. The three characters that most people were concerned over(Dr. Manhattan, The Comedian, and Rorschach) were very well portrayed and could not have been done any better. A great deal of the movie had emotional highs and lows, and the action was very nicely done, albeit the whole time decelerant effect was a bit over used at times, but nice overall. My major gripes were that certain aspects of the story were changed that probably should have been left alone in terms of the 3 big characters story lines, especially Rorschach. Beyond that, it was a good movie that was well done and very true to its source content. Those who have read the comic may have a little grief over the changes, but those who haven't read the comic will still enjoy the story as it unfolds.

If something is taken, then take it back. if something is given, accept with a smile. Yet if harshness is met for no reason, then return that ten fold. Love and cherish what you have, for it can be ripped away with such violence, that theres no recovery
Thanks for the +fav, man!

My worlds a circus, and you're my dancing bear and clowns.
Oh cool, glad you watched Watchmen. I've never heard of it before and the previews looked interesting.

Anyways: Newblood glomps you, Zerington snubs you, Chikia sticks out her tongue at you and inbetween the muddled mess sits Kimster and shyly waves.
